Hello everyone! Thank you for your patience and support as we work to bring back the Timber Lodge to be a destination location for your family to get away and just enjoy. The updates on the property thus far have been more of a process than we had hoped but we are dedicated to bringing this property back to life and better than ever.
As construction began, it was evident that the cabins needed a lot more work than we had initially anticipated, which is typical for construction. Unfortunately, we then ran into delays with coding, licensing and construction that has left behind our ideal opening target at the property. We are greatly disappointed with the length of time this process has taken but we are committed to delivering you the best property and vacation accommodations that we can. With recent changes with construction, we feel we are moving in a positive direction and we are excited for the new quality product that we look forward to welcoming you to. Here are some updated photos to show some of the work that has happened.
We are so excited about these updates and transformations. We cannot wait to host guests in our lovely spaces. As for now we have decided to stop taking on current reservations for a time to get all the issues taken care of. Even though it looks really nice, we still have things to do before we are able to let guests into the cabins. We have hot water heaters that need to be installed so our guests are not taking cold showers. We have some door issues to fix. Who knew it would be so hard to find door knobs and locks for thicker doors... not us!
Overall, we feel like we are in a good place and should be ready to start taking reservations soon. We will post when we are ready for reservations this year. If you are looking for something for next year, we can definitely look at some dates for you. As I said earlier, sadly we are not taking any reservations at this time unitl we are fully confident that the product and services we can provide are to our standards.
